1st Grade
Hello Ladera Parents and Students!
I am thrilled to be teaching at Ladera and I look forward to a fun and productive year. This will be my sixth year teaching at Ladera where I have taught first and second grades. Before coming to TUSD, I taught kindergarten and first grade in the Saddleback Valley Unified School District. I received my teaching credential from the University of California, Irvine and my undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis.
Outside school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband, Chris, works in the motorsports industry. Lauren, my 11 year old daughter, keeps us busy on the soccer field and at the stables. Reese is our 5 year old son. He enjoys any sport with a ball and doing tricks on his bike. In my free time, I love horseback riding, camping with my family, playing tennis and training our newest family member Ranger (a rescued border collie).
Ladera is such a wonderful place to teach and I am so excited for the upcoming year. I look forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting those new to the Ladera family!
