The Ladera Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) aides students and educators in achieving the highest advantages in academics, as well as physical and social education. During the 2008-2009 school year the PTO provided:

There are fantastic things planned for Ladera this year! This year the PTO will continue to support teachers, staff and students with these valuable benefits and several new and exciting programs as well.
Every child attending Ladera directly benefits from the many programs and activities funded by Ladera's PTO. Your support DOES makes a difference! Due to State budget cuts, this year more than any other year in our school’s history, we need to raise money not for the added extras, but for the base essentials.
In order for the PTO to continue to facilitate and fund these numerous programs we need your help. By joining the PTO you will assist in making sure these opportunities continue to be available at Ladera. Please take a moment and complete the attached form and become a PTO Member today.
As a PTO Member, you will receive the handy Ladera School Directory. The directory includes contact information for most Ladera families, general school information, Ladera staff directory, class lists, calendar of events and more.
Our goal is to include all Ladera families in the directory, regardless of PTO Membership. Therefore, if you are unable to join the PTO at this time but would like your contact information to be included in the directory, please complete and return the attached form.
Another way to support the PTO is through advertising. This year we will offer several advertising packages, including ones that encompass visible exposure at all Ladera events (fundraisers) and publications (website and newsletter). If you are interested in possibly advertising your business to the Ladera community, please indicate on the attached form and you will be contacted directly.
Please support the Ladera PTO by becoming a member. You may complete our ONLINE FORM now and join the PTO today. Or complete, print and return this FORM, along with your donation, to your child’s teacher. Complete just one form per family and return by October 2, 2009 to be included in the directory.
