Dear Parents and Students,

I am extremely excited to be teaching at Ladera this year as I have heard so many wonderful things about the parents, students, and staff. I am looking forward to getting a chance to know each of you and to be a part of the Ladera "Family". I have spent the last eight years teaching second and third grades at Helen Estock, and before that I taught second grade for two years in the Orange Unified School District.

I am married (Jennifer) with two young children (Dane 3 1/2 and Reese 1 1/2). My wife and I recently celebrated our five year wedding anniversary with a fantastic trip to Catalina Island. My family loves to travel. We usually spend our summers abroad (Costa Rica or Indonesia) and are always thinking of new places to visit. When I have free time I usually spend it excercising (surfing, playing tennis, or at the gym or reading a novel.

I received my undergaduate degree in sociology from C.S.U.F. and my teaching credential from Concordia University in Irvine. Again, I am very excited to be teaching at such a wonderful school and can't wait to meet you all.
