Welcome to My Classroom!
Greetings Parents and Students! I can't believe this is already my 11th year teaching. I have previously taught 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. Each grade level has its challenges and its rewards, and I can honestly say that I don't have a favorite grade! I love them all!
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies at Westmont College, my teaching credential through Cal State Fullerton, and my Masters Degree in Education Counseling through Madison University. I love coming to work each day because I am greeted by the smiles of your children and their eager desire to learn. Teaching continues to be a very rewarding profession, one of which I feel very fortunate to be a part.
My husband, also a teacher in Tustin, and I have been married for seven years, and we have two children whom we adore. Our daughter, Haley, is five, and is attending Kindergarten at Ladera. Our son, Caleb, is 2 1/2. Our children are the highlight of our lives, and they keep us VERY busy! As a family we love going to Disneyland, the beach, pool, or Irvine Spectrum. Our family time is very precious to us, and we feel very fortunate to share a career that gives us vacation days at the same time.
