It has never been easier to help Ladera Elementary raise funds that benefit our school. Ladera Elementary School PTO has partnered with a number of organizations that will donate a portion of their proceeds back to Ladera throughout the year. As your participation directly benefits our school, we encourage you to become familiar with these programs, as well as share them with your family and friends. The programs listed below provide families with an EASY and FUN way to support our school.
Local Retailers & Restaurants:
RALPHS
Ralphs is committed to helping our communities grow and prosper. Year after year, local schools, churches and other non-profit organizations earn millions of dollars through the Community Contributions Program. Ladera PTO earned over $600.00 last year!
Based on each household’s monthly purchases, Ralphs will contribute to Ladera PTO as follows:
- Up to $200 per month of eligible purchases: 1%
- $200.01 & $350 per month of eligible purchases: 2% of amount over $200
- $350.01 & $500 per month of eligible purchases: 3% of amount over $350
- Over $500 per month of eligible purchases 4% of amount over $500

TARGET
Our school is earning money! It's super-easy, and all you have to do is use your Target® Visa® or Target® Debit Card. Ladera will receive a percentage of the amount of each purchase in the form of a cash donation from Target through the Take Charge of Education® program. It's easy. If you're not already taking part, please consider doing so--grandparents, alumni, friends and neighbors can help, too.

SCREAMIN DAILY DEALS
Screamin Daily Deals is an e-mail service that informs members about discounts on a variety of local products and services. You can expect "daily deal" emails with special, one-day deals with discounts 50-90% off on things like restaurants, spa treatments, health & beauty, recreation, museums and much more! But more importantly than that, Ladera PTO will continually receive between 5% to 10% in year-round donations from all proceeds. This program began in May, 2010, and Ladera PTO has already earned close to $270.00!

RESTAURANT NIGHTS!
Once a month, Ladera selects a restaurant that has agreed to donate up to 20% of their proceeds from one particular night back to Ladera PTO.
HOW CAN I HELP?
Be on the lookout for flyers that identify the restaurants and dates. Participating restaurants have included Café Rio, Zov’s, California Pizza Kitchen, Baja Fresh, Pat & Oscar’s, among others. Ladera PTO Earnings 2009-2010: $1,500.00. Please contact Erin Mike if you know of a Restaurant that might be interesting in hosting our school!
JAMBA JUICE (cards will be distributed in December, 2010)
The more you’re sippin’, the more we’re gettin’! Whenever a School Appreciation Card gets presented at the time of a Jamba purchase, 10% of the proceeds will be donated to Ladera PTO and 2% will go to National PTA. For more information about Jamba Juice's Community Program click HERE:

GO BANANAZ!!
Go-Bananaz!! is a family-owned frozen yogurt shop who feels strongly about supporting their local community. With 16 flavors and 100 toppings available every day, their self-serve concept allows you to Go-Bananaz!! anyway you want! They offer healthy non-fat, low-fat, no sugar added, and Carbawhey flavors that are exceptionally good and good for you! Online Programs:
ESCRIP
eScrip is a fundraising program that enables participating merchants to contribute a percentage of your grocery card (VONS and PAVILIONS), your debit/ATM card, and your credit card purchases to our school. The eScrip program has distributed over $120 million to schools and youth organizations across the country since 1999. The program is FREE and is SO easy because you shop and dine at many of these stores every day! For example, if 50 Ladera families spent $400 per month with participating merchants, the amount could total a $12,000 contribution to Ladera! Plus, your purchases are tracked and available to you online, allowing you to see just how much you are earning on your child's behalf! Ladera’s ID# is 500003144.
HOW CAN I HELP? There are 3 EASY ways to earn money for Ladera!
- ADD CARDS. Register any or all of your existing grocery loyalty (VONS and PAVILIONS), your personal debit and credit cards for use in this program. Participating merchants will make contributions to Ladera PTO, based on purchases made by you, just by using the cards you have registered! Sign up by clicking HERE.
- ESCRIP DINING BY REWARDS NETWORK. If your credit/debit cards are registered through eScrip, you can help Ladera PTO earn up to 5% on participating restaurants in our area. MY COKE REWARDS
Our school has joined the My Coke Rewards for Schools program. That means by drinking the Coca-Cola products your family already enjoys, you can get My Coke Rewards points and donate them to our school. Your donations will go towards rewards like art supplies (paper, pens and pencils, markers, gluesticks and paintbrushes), sports equipment (balls and nets), and even audio-visual equipment (cameras, video recorders and AV carts) that help our students learn, play and have fun. Even the smallest point contribution can lead to great things for our students at Ladera!

LABELS FOR EDUCATION
Earn FREE stuff for Ladera! Our school can redeem Labels for Education points for educational resources. It’s a fun, easy program where students, families and members of the community work together for a common goal. FUNDING FACTORY
Support Ladera Student Council. Your old cell phones and printer cartridges = $$$ for our school. Ladera can earn technology, classroom and recreation equipment, and even cash through the Funding Factory Recycling Program.
